redesigning logos

I thought this was an interesting video. In the video, a graphic designer redesigns popular soda logos, but I thought it was interesting that although the logos looked more aesthetically pleasing, they were unable to replace the iconic original logos. I think this is an interesting tie into how people perceive logos and popular symbols.
