Pacing a Movie

I would be lying if I said I don't watch video essays. I love well-produced film essays. This particular video essay goes into pacing for movies, specifically, pacing by renowned director Christopher Nolan. Zach Ramelan builds this video essay around scenes from the films Dark Knight and The Prestige. There are several interesting pacing techniques in both these films that create a more compelling story. I would personally like to add to the video essay, however, that the soundscapes of the film through diegetic and non-diegetic sounds are also incredibly important in building good pacing (which Zach does briefly mention, but I don't think he mentioned it enough).
