November 1st- Investment

This is a cartoon from the New Yorker that made me chuckle, but also reminded me of Kabele’s animation. Not in terms of context (unless I missed something), but in the comment she made about animating the carousel horses and investing so much time into something and not wanting to give it up but eventually having to. This is something that resonated with me when she said it as I have had many a lost cause that I have not wanted to surrender. I have however found that these struggles can be useful in the art process.
