Interactive Exhibitions

A visitor to an art exhibition with a piece featuring a single banana duct-taped to a wall took that banana and ate it. Three buyers paid between $120,000 and $150,000 for these pieces, which is far too much for a banana and speaks to the shady dealings of the art world. As to the eater, it's definitely one way to interact with art, and I would say that it probably made the work more famous, but the work seems to have already garnered plenty of attention on its own. The artist doesn't seem to be pressing charges.
