GANs and Art
GANs stands for Generative Adversarial Networks. These are neural networks that throw neural nets at each other to mimic input data. The result is these networks can reproduce brand new data that is extremely close to the input data. For example, visual art can be placed into a GANs and new artwork will be produced by the neural network in the same style with great effect. When we were reading about computer data, programming, and visual art, I discussed the use of GANs to create art. Here is a video that showcases an interesting usage of GANs:
