Ágnes Herczeg: Lacework + nature

https://www.agnesherczeg.com/2019.html

Ágnes Herczeg has a video on youtube called "Needle lace creation" that shows a little under a minute of her working on a piece in real-time. I think it does a great job of showing how painstakingly long a process lacework is, unlike a lot of the time-lapse videos on youtube.

As someone who casually cross stitches for fun, I am in awe of Herczeg's lace art. I've read a bit about making lace with bobbins, and even that seems incredibly time-consuming and difficult. The thought that Herczeg does all of her lacework with a needle, which allows her to create images (as opposed to patterns like lace bobbins) is amazing.
