A very different kind of wax sculpture

When I thought about wax sculptures, I thought of 1:1 scale recreations of famous people like those in Madame Tussauds. I would never have imagined Ferdi Rizkiyanto's mini wax sculpture that was digitally carved around a candle. The emotion conveyed by the tiny, unidentifiable figures feels like the complete opposite of the lifeless stares of Madame Tussauds's life-size celebrities. I'd take this candle over a sub-par rendering of Ariana Grande any day.
