Joker: Bathroom Scene Improvisation

In class, while working on each of the projects we've had so far, we always mention that sometimes the creative process might take you in the direction you did not plan in advance and that some best decisions might come up to an artist unexpectedly during the creative process. Here I wanted to share what Joker's director Todd Phillips had to say about one of the most impressive scenes in the film that was significantly altered by Joaquin Phoenix's improvisation.
