Iconic National Parks Posters
I have always found the posters made to advertise National Parks in the 1930s and 40s as part of FDRs WPA program to employ unemployed Americans following the Great Depression. I have always felt their use of color was impeccable in conveying the beauty of these national treasures (I have been to all of the ones featured above) while simultaneously conveying an iconic style still reproduced today.
